ARTHROSCOPIC SURGERY

Arthroscopy is the art of minimally invasive joint surgery. Surgery is performed through several small holes, or portals, through which a camera called an arthroscope is inserted for visualization on a screen. Instruments are inserted through portal sites to perform work within the joint. Dr. Bedford primarily performs knee and shoulder arthroscopy.
